1. Our privacy approach
AgeWise is designed to minimize data collection. Dates entered into the age calculator are processed locally in your browser. They are not submitted to an AgeWise server, added to a profile, or saved by the calculator.
2. Information you provide
If you email us, we receive the information included in your message, such as your name, email address, subject, and message content. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information. We use correspondence only to respond, maintain support records, protect the service, or meet legal obligations.
3. Calculator data
Your birth date and optional comparison date stay within the active browser session. AgeWise does not require an account and does not intentionally associate calculator entries with an identifiable visitor. Closing or refreshing the page clears the on-screen calculation unless your browser preserves form state.
4. Technical and usage information
Our hosting and security providers may automatically process limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages, timestamps, referring pages, and error or security events. This information may be used to deliver the site, prevent abuse, diagnose problems, and understand general performance.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
AgeWise does not need advertising or profiling cookies to perform an age calculation. Essential technologies may be used for security, routing, accessibility, or service reliability. If analytics or advertising features are introduced, this policy and our Cookie Policy will be updated and legally required choices will be provided.
6. How information may be shared
Information may be processed by service providers that help us host, secure, maintain, or communicate about AgeWise. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse, or as part of a business reorganization. We do not sell birth dates entered into the calculator.
7. Retention
Calculator dates are not retained by AgeWise. Support communications and technical records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, legal compliance, dispute resolution, security, and service improvement, after which they may be deleted or de-identified.
8. Your privacy choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of personal information we hold. You may also object to certain processing or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Contact us to make a request; verification may be needed to protect your information.
9. Children’s privacy
AgeWise is a general-audience informational service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the calculator. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent personal information should contact us.

Service providers may process information in countries with different data protection laws. We use reasonable safeguards where required. We may update this policy as the site, providers, or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision.
